Drawing inspiration from Steve McQueen, medieval knights and the six separate head traumas he’s suffered, Jerome Coste has developed the luxurious Pavillon helmet. Part of the Ruby brand of fashion accessories that also includes hand-rolled silk scarves, the Pavillon doesn’t compromise on quality, style or safety.
The carbon fiber shells are lined with burgundy nappa lambskin, chosen for both its suppleness and anti-bacterial properties. The crest along the helmet’s top is the part inspired by medieval armor and will become a signature style element for the new brand. As you’d expect, the Pavillon doesn’t come cheap (prices start at €500), and it will be sold at high-end boutiques like Colette in Paris.
