We’re not sure if we like BOS’s new GP-style exhaust can for the Yamaha R6 and Kawasaki ZX-10R, but it’s certainly different. Silencing remains under-engine, but the outlet is shrouded in a slash-cut megaphone that looks designed to funnel noise and exhaust gases straight out to the side. As is usual for any aftermarket exhaust, the BOS sheds a little weight over stock, while allowing the engine to breathe a little freer and develop a little more power — all while being much louder.
