Harley claims its new Skyline range of helmets is the first specifically designed for women. Unlike other companies, that doesn’t simply mean they’ve just painted them pink or plastered them with tribal flowers. They’ve actually altered the construction and shape of the shell and liner to specifically cater to a female head shape. 10mm deeper than standard helmet shells, the Skylines should fit better around the forehead and at the rear than traditional helmets, while an anti-static fabric liner and ponytail notch claim to make helmet hair less of an issue. The cheek and side pads are also available in a range of sizes, making the Skyline’s fit nearly custom. A full-face helmet isn’t included in the Skyline range. Baby steps people, baby steps.
