We all know that plain old handcuffs can be picked using nothing more than a shard of metal cable pulled from your hard-to-kill flesh. So it’s a good thing that Master Lock has seriously upgraded the security on their new take on the classic cuff design. The Street Cuffs feature a “virtually pick proof” lock, are made from heavy gauge steel, and have no fixed anchor point from which thieves can pry them apart.
While we wouldn’t trust the Street Cuffs for primary overnight security (we use Almax chains), they could be just the thing for quick, daytime lockups. The cuff design means they’ll fit through a variety of bike parts and street furniture, so they’ll be good for locking the bike to itself or most items of street furniture.
