Peraves to produce 100 Monotracers in 2009

monotracer5.jpgPeraves has announced it is expanding its production facilities to enable the production of 100 Monotracers in 2009. The €49,750 enclosed motorcycle is powered by a 1171cc BMW K-series engine producing 130bhp, giving it a top speed in excess of 155mph. At max lean — 52 degrees — the side-mounted stabilizer wheels touch down, acting like mechanical versions of a rider’s knee. If you manage to stump up the €50k and get a place on the list, be prepared to fly to Switzerland not only to collect your Peraves Monotracer, but also to take the mandatory training course.

do the stabilizing arms automatically raise once you reach a certain speed? or is that why you need to take a training course? I would love to learn for myself

  • Wes Siler

It’s my understand that you raise them manually with a lever, but I could be wrong.

Do you have Honda drive shaft or what other type of shaft drive are used ? And what are the prices in English ? Thanks Jerry
