Classic Bike Raisch points way for next Thruxton

Thruxton_cafe_racer_1.jpgInstead of focusing on bolt-on cosmetics, this custom Triumph Thruxton from Classic Bike Raisch sets out to perform. In addition to period correct racing upgrades like the fork brace, solo seat, uprated suspension and twin exhausts, the German company has added modern tweaks like the 95bhp engine and wider tires front and rear, the later requiring a new swingarm and allowing the fitment of modern rubber. All we’d add is a set of scuffed slicks and bare aluminum bodywork. Here’s hoping Triumph finds inspiration for the next Thruxton from vintage racing rather than chromed out customs.     Interesting.. The fairings on both pictures are different from one another. I like the top one – the bottom one is too anemic.
