Julien Dupont rides the Netherlands

Julien_Dupont_netherlands.jpgWhen we interviewed Roland Sands, he drew the conclusion that motorcycles could be the “next, most logical step into two-wheeled mobility” for the fixed-gear bicycle crowd. If you had any doubt that that could be true, or don’t understand the ways in which motorcycles could be made to appeal to a demographic prepared to eschew conventional transportation wisdom in favor of something smaller, slower and less practical, we offer Julien Dupont and his freestyle trials riding as evidence.
>
Julien combines the skill, discipline and machinery of traditional
trials riding with the environment and spirit of skate boarding or BMX
riding. If you still don’t get it, just show this video to anyone under
the age of 30 who doesn’t currently ride and watch their reaction. And
give us a street-legal trials bike damnit.
