Death Spray Custom paints helmets

Death Spray Custom just totally changed the way we think about custom helmets. Usually covered in overwrought clichés, custom spray jobs never seemed as cool as plain old black, not anymore. Death Spray’s graphics are created with sympathy for the helmets they’re painted on, elevating the finished product to an entirely new level.

Our favorite is the SixSixOne Megavalanche, which has received a design
based on the topography of the Alpe d’Huez. This is actually a downhill
mountain bike helmet created for the Saab Salomon Avalanche Trophy that
takes place on the famous mountain.

In addition to helmets, Death Spray paints snowboards, bicycle frames and, soon, motorcycles. We can’t wait to see more.

Come on Wes, give us something about technology or innovation. I can go down to Pearl Paint on Canal and do this.

Great stuff. Thanks for the post Wes – we love to see stuff like this that’s left of field from the usual.

The Megavalanche is almost as cool as the race it’s named after but that David Cassidy Red Bull helmet is something I can imagine on the Ruckus riding hipsters in Silver Lake (if that corporate logo was removed, of course). It beats lightning bolts and barbed wire by a long shot, but I’m sticking with plain white.
