Buells on ice: Craig Jones sets 148.7mph record

Craig Jones just set a new on-ice speed record for motorcycles: 148.7mph. How’d he do it? By adding nitrous and big spikes to a Buell 1125R of course. For good measure, he also completed an extensive stunt session aboard the Buell 1125CR. Click through for three videos.

    Two weeks later on Speed Weekend (a Swedish Bonneville like event on ice) a Swede drove 247 km/h (153 mph) on average, on the flying kilometer.
    What the top speed of that run was I dont know, but it was well above 153 mph.
