Early this morning, Robbie Maddison performed a no-handed backflip between the two open sections of Tower Bridge spanning the Thames in London. Intended to promote the upcoming Battersea Power Station round of Red Bull X-Fighters, Maddison approached the gap at 40mph and, unlike his step up at the Vegas Arc d Triomphe, he stuck the landing without drama. “People say I’m crazy, but I just want to push the boundaries of my
sport and my body to the limit and I love taking on these huge
challenges,” said Maddison. “It was an incredible feeling to fly
between the two towers and over the Thames”

Balls of unobtanium I would guess… I don’t fancy heights all that much so wow!

Are Red Bull a secret cabal who actually run the world? I can’t understand how they get all this access in a world seemingly obsessed with saying ‘No!’
It is great though. Viva Red Bull (even if it tastes like drain cleaner). G

I know their secret, but I’m afraid they’ll kill me if I tell you it. (shhh, it’s $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$)

he is one crazy, brave guy! I still remember the Vegas Arc d Triomphe jump with awe-probably the scariest stunt I’ve seen.

  • Fritz

Seems like a smart guy…hope he has the sense not to push the envelope too much
