Cafe Society is a 60-minute documentary chronicling the history of the cafe racer and comes complete with a soundtrack by Highway 13 and Wildfire Willie and The Ramblers. A two year labor of love by journalists Mike Seate, Chet Burks, Ed Coughlin and Brad Jones, the film uses a variety of classic footage, contemporary interviews and modern recreations of famous street races and two-wheeled exploits. It’s available now for pre-order, shipping in September. A clip follows the jump. >

Mike Seate is one of my favorite writers. This looks great. I really don’t understand biker culture though whether it is HD’s, cafe racers, or whatever. Two wheels is two wheels.
