We’re loving the custom paint scheme Death Spray Custom applied to this Yamaha street-tracker. Like the rest of DSC’s work, Boner Brigade is vibrant, exciting and sympathetic to its subject. Look for Hell For Leather’s very own DSC project in the near future.

    I’m not quite understanding why this bike is getting so much play. It’s plastered all over every motorcycle site I visit. It’s cool ‘n all, but it looks like any back yard special to me.

      No, I’m actually asking you to elaborate and leave an intelligent comment rather than just be snarky. Add value to this conversation with a link, a picture, an explanation or…something.

      As far as I know, Dave was known for his skeleton leathers, but never actually painted a bike in bones.

    I like how the artist is taking risks with the paint, and thank god he did it on a VERY functional and fun machine. There are enough useless bikes painted see-into-infinity-deep dark cherry with tribal cream pinstripes (or what have you). But something about the finished product doesn’t sit well with me.
    I know it’s not the paint- that’s brilliant; I cant quite figure it out though. Its not a form problem either, the bike looks strong, well built, very functional, and very “bad ass”.
    It just seems unfinished, or perhaps the rest of the bike doesn’t suit. When I get dressed with whatever I have in the closet, I get the same feeling, I look good, but ugh, not quite.
    It seems incomplete, but geeze its close!
