Spy photos reveal Ducati Strada Aperta cockpit

Ducati_Strada_Aperta_Dash.jpgThese new spy photos reveal for the first time the instruments of the imminent Ducati Strada Aperta. Revealed are a fully-digital, one-piece dashboard, practical fairing storage bins and the manual screen height adjustment.

Ducati_Strada_Aperta_Side.jpgIt’ll be really interesting to see what form the digital
instrumentation takes. Will it be race-inspired like the Honda RC51 or
merely a digital representation of the classic needles-n-circles? Maybe
you’ll even be able to choose between the two.

Ducati_Strada_Aperta_Front.jpgThis photo is also the best look yet at the not-as-1098-ish-as-thought
headlights. Expect to see the full unveil of Ducati’s take on the
Yamaha TDM at EICMA in November.

Agreed on the front fairing – I sincerely hope that it’s not the final design.

However, I’m stoked to see someone finally pointing out that road-biased enduro-style tourers following in the footsteps of the built-for-the-Stelvio-pass TDM :)

Also, massive thumbs up to Ducati for putting storage bins in the fairing. There’s so much wasted space in so many tourers.

Schnozz: Anatomically, a nose is a protuberance in vertebrates that houses the nostrils, or nares, which admit and expel air for respiration in conjunction with the mouth.

This Duc has quite the bill.
