Late this summer, our friends Sam and Tyler approached us with an idea for an art installation: suspend motorcycles in a gallery in such a way that people who don’t ride will come to understand the reasons why we do. Thus, Stop/Action was born. Here’s how we made it.

    Wow. Bitchin’ job. Seriously.

    Did you paint the bikes?

      We wrapped ‘em in vinyl.

Not exactly Christo wrapping the Reichstag in silver cloth, but still a neat installation. Looks like you guys had fun. The images certainly do convey a sense of motion and dynamism.

I really with I could have seen this in real life.

I really enjoyed the photos. Why were the bikes so dusty?

They were shipped up from Aprilia’s storage warehouse in Dallas which is apparently a filthy, filthy place.
