2010 Isle of Man TT action, as it was meant to be

Ian-Hutchinson-tt.jpgMost videos from the Isle of Man TT are covered in meaningless commentary or bad rock music. Not this one. It’s a compilation of on-board and roadside shots left to sound as God intended. Sit back, relax, turn up your speakers and enjoy real road racing.

Update: another video added below.

Bravo! on jump save. That had probably swallowed his heart back down after that.

Thanks Wes, This really made my day!

  • Brennan

    wonderful

  • Wayne

    I love MotoGP…but these guys are…I don’t want to say awesome….so I won’t….they are unbelievable….absolutely unbelievable….bravest sportsmen on the planet.

    • Isaac

I agree with you Wayne. To race at TTIOM you must be one can short of a six pack and have balls that klank.

  • Dave

That was fantastic. Gotta love road racing.

  • mike

Thanks for that. I can’t imagine the nerve it takes to carry that kind of speed (or anything near it) through those roads. Incredible.

  • Ian S

Yes. This is why I come to HFL. I don’t need to hear Nickelback or some other neutered nu-metal derivative dubbed over the engine sounds. I prefer and can handle reality. Thank you. This is good.

  • cwei

That’s some insane riding skills… 2:50 brings a whole new meaning to “blink and you’ll miss it”.

  • shinigami

I am not ashamed to admit that scares the living hell right out of me. Those people are on another level.

  • acdc

Guy Martin at 3:03 has the shows how to use your suspension when cornering. This man is my hero and inspires my middle finger to Superman.

This is fantastic racing coverage. And no crappy music!! This how to cover a race. Message to everyone. We don’t need a soundtrack!!
Hearing these engines is music to these ears. Fantastic racing. The skill and bravery of the riders is amazing.

    Thank you HFL! Just… sublime.

  • Bryan_ZA

Does anyone have any advice on seeing these videos if they don’t appear right away?
I often have this with HFL’s vids, they’re just the white block, no loading whatseover…

Please help, these comments are driving me nuts to see this!

  • gregorbean

holy fuck. That second video is especially awesome. Some of those corners are just ridiculously fast.

  • Joe

There is a quote on climbing that is very well suited here: “Climbing is not a battle of the elements, not of gravity. But a battle against one’s self”. These guys are certainly battling the laws of physics but the ability to put fear out and go for it like that? Wow.
