Venturi electrifies Voxan

Dailies -

Voxan-Venturi.jpgDefunct French bike maker Voxan has been purchased by Monegasque millionaire Gilda Pallanca Pastor, who also owns Venturi Automobiles. His plan? Leave the old models behind and move towards an all-new, all-electric future. Venturi says to expect the first models in about three years and there’s even talk of racing them. Manufacture will take place alongside the company’s cars in Sable-sur-Sarthe, France. Don’t expect anything conventional, the Venturi Astrolab and Eclectic are two of the quirkiest cars ever.

Quirky company, they may come up with something cool.

If I recollect correctly, they built an acpropulsion system car a few years back,

I always wondered how France couldn’t have a successful motorcycle company. Maybe going electric is the answer; they have some interesting styling, maybe it will translate into an electric that doesn’t look like a supermoto or a GP bike.
