Hide from the Honda Hurricane August 31, 2010 By Wes Siler Tweet The twin-Hurricanepocalypse bearing down on the East Coast has cable news pundits in a panic, but that’s ok, even Ninjas know its wise to hide from hurricanes. Especially 1987 Honda Hurricanes. via Icon Blog s0crates82 Left-handed compliments are awesome. Though, to be fair, at the time wouldn’t this be sort of like “iphone-killer” or “better than the 3-Series”? http://www.thisblueheaven.com Mark D Makes me wish bike manufacturers still actually named their products, instead of the alphabet soup we have now. No, I don’t want a Zx10rrME22iPod, I want a goddamn Ninja!! DNF In 1989 I purchased a used 600 Hurricane. Bad a$$ at the time. kawapunch Not much of a fan of the ‘paso’ look and don’t care much for names on bikes such as nighthawk, ninja, fireblade etc. Love the prefex ZX10, ZX9 etc http://hellforleathermagazine.com Wes Siler Don’t sully the Fireblade name around here. I’m their biggest fan. brandnreal this cbr hurricane 600 was my first sports bike in the year 1990… yes it was the bad ass at the time with the F1 slip on.. nice!!! Rob I’ve got an identical twin to the one at the end of the commercial, with aforementioned F1 pipe. If only the plastic was as bomb-proof as the motor. She’s been many peoples first bike over the years, but I think I’m going to restore her. Love that bike. Patrick from Astoria I think I was thirteen when I saw that commercial back in ’86-’87, and it was full-stop the coolest thirty seconds on TV that year. I wasn’t even a motorcycle person (yet).
