    hey that was cool! i think they do have a stealth colour way for this jacket tho, could have worked better for him… i was checking it out when i was dreaming about the possibility of winning it in the scar off, hehe…

    you know, it could wrap everything up nicely if the winner of the scaroff would send you some pics of him riding in his new gear, then we’ll all enjoy that with him

    Seems like the only issue the dude has with it is the tackiness and the doubts about high-speed abrasion resistance. Would it be that hard to black out the silver bits? Where I live, if I go down at speed I’m so hosed that no jacket will help. FWIW I’m looking for a replacement for my perforated Vanson jacket, it smells like a homeless person’s foot. (in the summertime) This jacket is a contender and likely winner.

    Say, Fatmex, have you looked into Vanson’s restoration service? You could get that perf Vanson throughly cleaned and rejuvenated for less than the price of one of these throwaway Chinese junk jackets. And, still have real protection.

    When I saw the sponsored ad yesterday, it got me a little worried. I’m glad it got a field test with pro’s AND con’s.

    Icon makes some nice gear, but I could never see myself in any of it. Simply because every squid in these parts is covered in it. You go to a bike night and everyone is wearing the same jacket and riding the same bike. Not my thing.

    Thanks for clarifying it comes in all black. I also noticed he said it does not come with a waist zipper for riding pants. However, the video on the icon youtube page clearly shows it has an attached zipper for riding pants. http://www.youtube.com/iconmotosports#p/u/9/J2Do9la0KvA
