These are the first pictures of the AMSOIL-sponsored EBR 1125RR that Geoff May will race at Daytona on March 12. Scott from Cleveland CycleWerks snapped them for us at the Indy Dealer Expo this weekend. While Erik Buell says this bike will be superseded by the EBR 1190RS in time for the AMA Pro Superbike Infineon round in May, this contraption is still far from shabby. The 1126cc Rotax v-twin makes 170hp at the rear wheel and the whole thing weighs just 368lbs (wet). AMSOIL has signed up for a three-year title sponsorship of EBR bikes in the AMA Pro Superbike series.

    That is a sharp-ass motorcycle.

Too bad they didn’t have Danny Eslik again. You would be looking at the winning motorcycle. Geof May aint no slouch, however.
    GO ERIK BUELL RACING!!
