This picture in from Ted Redmer, a reader in the North East. “Irene brought down a lot of trees and branches in my area, closing a lot of roads,” he tells us. “My truck couldn’t get through, so I set out on my Monster to help friends and neighbors clear debris. This struck me as a picture that was very HFL.”

    Rad, but where’s the boomstick?

      +1
      Awesome.

      • Mr.Paynter

        Dammit! I should have said…

        Groovy!

  • Greg

Well, we can see he’s not a serious logger – the saw’s not a Stihl…

    • Artful

Lol that saw has kept three generations of my family warm since about 1985 and still starts third pull every time :)

  • aristurtle

That ought to keep tailgaters away.

    Hells. Yes.

  • runrun

really like the cans. what kind are they? the hi-mount cans on monsters never look right to me.

    • Artful

The old style Ducati Performance megaphones. They’re pretty much unobtainium new anymore (I got mine three years ago as a scratch and dent), but I agree, they fit the look of the Monster.

      • Steven

they appear to be gas cans, and I don’t see how they could be mounted any higher.

        also, zombies aren’t real.

        • Artful

          Yet.

  • nymoto

    Rad man – rad

  • Kyle

picture movie scene with a nice 180 stoppie… overly squidish but it would be pretty cool to see

  • Alex

hmm this situation could potentially be one great husqvarna ad.

    1. Is this at all illegal?

    2. If not, why don’t we all do this?

I really liked this photo I took last year, but after your Duc (with the awesome pipes) it feels pretty lame: http://www.ninja250blog.com/media/e3_dead_rising.jpg

    • Artful

      1. There is no way it can be. Meh.

      2. No idea, it makes for a hell of a rescue vehicle and the looks you get from cagers and pedestrians are well worth the price of the ticket.

Your picture is pretty damn good, the dirt bike and splashed blood angle is pretty beast. Plus it wasn’t taken with a cell phone… lol

    • brutus

except for the chainsaws cutting off your hands, i think its brilliant.

  • Dumptruckfoxtrot

This is pretty awesome! I keep thinking about putting a machete on my bike but I’m not sure if I’d like the extra police attention and I’m fairly certain somebody would end up stealing it.
