The 2012 Kawasaki ZX-10R is identical to the 2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R in every way but color. The black/red actually looks really nice and restrained, solid color panels > tribal ghost flames.

Quit hating on graphics by Ed Hardy.

    Hater.

    I’m allergic to haters.

I’m allergic to Ed Hardy. Affliction too.

Don’t you ride the bike that is the number 1 choice of Ed Hardy / Affliction wearers?

(maybe a little below the belt)

Showing my age, but the black and red color scheme dredges up memories of the 1988 ZX-10 and I lusted after that thing. Instead, I bought a Hurricane 1000.

LOL. I’m right there with you. I remember at the time the Hurricane nudging Ninja out at the time (for me at least) because…

      …it had red wheels.

      Damn I’m old.

Back in 1996 I bought a 1988 Hurricane 1000 from Grass Roots BMW in Cape Girardeau MO. The Hurricane only had 2500 miles on it. Black and Red with Red wheels. It was a sweet ride.

I have no problem with this.

It’s nice, a touch darker and it would harken back to the black/red days of 80′s Ninja 900/600.

All the color of a Honda with little of the reliability ;)

It still looks pretty good for what it is though they should have gone with black for the upper/center fairing in all the colorways. A Black/White option would have been more appealing than red in my opinion. Like this:

Black upper/center does look way better.

I wish they would do a retro ZX7 green/white/blue color scheme. It looks like they want to, the green one has a blue R and wheel stripes.

I have seen that old White Blue Green stripe thing on old bikes in Japan this summer and still one of my all time favorites. That one and the white/ red speed block of old Yamaha FZRs.
