Ducs in a row

Snapped at NOLA Motorsports Park by Pro Italia, dozens of identical Ducati 1199 Panigales are lined up in the pits, ready for the brand’s dealer introduction. Riding the bike on the track, speaking to its designers and engineers and learning how to work on the new superbike enables dealers to better serve their customers with real knowledge and experience. For us it’s just a rare opportunity to see so many of this year’s new Duc in one place.

    Those Ducs stretch to infinity!

Those dealers attending who crash bikes will be invoiced for that bike and it will be shipped to them in the condition created by said dealer. Enjoy your ride.

when are you going to review it!!

Soon. We missed the international launch because Sean hurt himself right before he was supposed to go. Now we’re just waiting for them to arrive in the fleet here in LA.

I guess the ability to reduce the sublime to the intensely mundane is a thing (and in that sense these pictures are probably truly remarkable) but seriously… do better. Paying for this.

I was just out at the track, unfortunately it is a soggy day today and the pace was pretty slow. I have had a pretty good look at these and seen ‘em apart on the lift while being prepped. An excellent job of packaging with some pretty neat features. — JT

Actually, they’re Volkswagens now, VW/Audi just bought Ducati for $1.2B.

They say the revenue of ducati is more that Bugatti and Lambo combined. (Also owned by Volkswagon)
