These are the CAD drawings that helped transform 848 Evo into Ducati Streetfighter 848. Changes include that Testastretta 11° motor, a 35mm longer swingarm, lengthened trail, the suspension off the Monster 1100 Evo, non-Monobloc radial Brembo calipers and wider footpegs and 20mm higher bars than the bigger ‘Fighter. The Streetfighter was penned by Ducati designer and Art Center College of Design grad Damien Basset.

AHHHH isometric 3/4 views hurt my brain!

    What a pretty motor!

Now we can see in detail where there isn’t room for ABS.

Ducati, no matter what your rationalizations are, I will never spend $15K on a bike that doesn’t have ABS.

Why? Some people don’t prefer ABS you know…

      • Sean Smith

Those people have never tried it ;)

Yeah, failing to include ABS on this bike, when it’s rolling out across the rest of the Ducati range, is a bit of an oversight. There was some fluff about there being nowhere to put the box, but they’re the size of a cigarette packet these days. The 848 is relatively small, but nowhere near small enough for that to be a realistic excuse.

Are these pics part of some different looking press release, or is someone at HFL sitting on the actual DWG file?

I’ve got image exports of the dwg files.

Straight armed riding’s a no-no. Someone correct that mock-up dummy!

Without the right Color, Material & Finishing that exhaust looks pretty bulky.

  • Vincent

The rider should relax his stance. Looks like every squid in town with those locked arms.
