Due to shifting payment policies and other wonderfully boring details, I’m making changes to how subscription payments work via PayPal. If you get a cancellation notice, don’t worry, you should still have access to comments, galleries, etc. If you don’t have access, just pop me an email and I promise I’ll get you squared for access until further notice. Carry on.

  • Alex

    Let the email barrage begin.

    • http://hellforleathermagazine.com Grant Ray

Actually, it shouldn’t be too bad. I built in a quick workaround to allow for uninterrupted access.

      • http://www.facebook.com/beastincarnate Ben W

Seems to be working. Got the email from PayPal but comments/galleries/articles are working just fine.

        • The other Joe

          What Ben said.

        • http://www.facebook.com/beastincarnate Ben W

It was working, stopped, and I panicked. What am I supposed to do without being able to comment on HFL? Do my job? Have a life?

          Bah humbug.

      • Gingerbeard

Seems it’s working (so far). I still have access after the PayPal email.
But some people may not check this website before emailing about that.

        • Jay B

          +1. Same here.

  • scott

Still works for me but that email sent me into a bit of a panic, heh. Thought there was a bank issue or something.

  • Гена

I’m afraid you’re going to lose subscribers because of this.

  • http://www.damiengaudet.blogspot.com damien

    guess i’m working too!

  • http://mansgottado.tumblr.com/ Andy Gregory

    Great graphic, Grant.

  • Kevin

Testing testing, come in skinny jeans moto riders. Do you copy?

    • Kevin

      Impostor.

      • Kevin

        I had you at hello.

  • Zaron Gibson

I have to ask: What will the payment policy be shifting toward and why?

    • http://hellforleathermagazine.com Grant Ray

      More on that shortly.

    • http://www.twitter.com/wessilerfanclub Sean MacDonald (the other Sean)

this whole fiasco is only acceptable if you’re changing it so my credit card statement now shows my being billed for a monthly $2 charge at Wes and Grant’s Wet Weener Wonderland instead of Hell for Leather Magazine

      • AJ

        +1 for Wet Weener Wonderland.

        • Corey

I would sub on my CC just to read that every month.

  • Dave H

I saw the email from Paypal, and immediately checked the site, prepared to be kind of sad.

I like the graphic by the way.

    • DavidMG

Same here, I’m such a pessimist.

    • http://hellforleathermagazine.com Wes Siler

We’re growing. Thanks for your patience.

      • Dave H

Thanks for keeping us in the loop.

  • AHA

Phew! I thought I’d been barred – like for too many dumb & boring comments. Still time for that I suppose..

    • http://www.postpixel.com.au mugget

Hahaha. Yes I was hoping that HFL didn’t ban me… but nope, all good. Carry on!

  • Jon

Was wondering what that email was about…

  • Filippo

I am leaving a comment and psyched that I am still a HFL follower – whew.

  • Toby

Got the email, evidently still can comment.

  • Robert

Thanks for the growing notice HFL. Keep up the great work.

  • Dean

I miss websites being under construction. Damn, am I 31 already? Damn.

  • crawl

Jeez, I didn’t get an email, I feel out of the loop!

  • MotoRandom

Phew, I was really worried about not being able to continue to pay for some really exciting new things going on in the background that I know nothing about but supposedly will eventually. See, it’s not really a $1.99 a month for content. It’s an investment in the future!

  • paulo

I had some issues with my login, (probably user error on my part), I can yell you that 5 days of no access to content and comments made me break out in a horrible rash all over. I found the only relief was to go for a long ride. All good now thanks Grant…phew!

  • bluemoco

Thanks for sorting this out, Grant! Much appreciated.
