Brammo Empulse RR in The Corkscrew

This is what the first modern race bike to ever feature graphic design looks like in America’s most famous corner. Steve Atlas won the race of course, but was disappointed in his 1:40.2 lap time, citing ongoing development and cold tires. They’ll be back at Laguna MotoGP weekend and we’ll be there to watch. You? Oh, and note how nice Steve’s helmet design is, can’t tell you why.

If the helmet comes with that pattern in carbon fiber, I will be super interested.

They better find something more than flashy livery (namely 7+ seconds a lap) if they want to beat the Mission bike…see you dudes there.

And wait, the Mission bike is sponsored by Texas Instruments, so isn’t it fair to say that it was the first modern race bike to feature graph(ing calculator) design in the corkscrew? Anyone? Anyone? is this thing on?

I wasn’t aware that Mission Motors was racing at Laguna Seca this year. Have you heard something different?

I haven’t seen an entry list yet, and my searches on the TTXGP, FIM e-Power, and other electric race oriented sites were fruitless. I just assumed they would race since they kicked so much ass last year.

And now I’m trying to find Dolly on the helmet…
