MV BRUTALE rossa laterale DX 014

Italian motorcycle magazine Motociclismo just put an MV Agusta Brutale 675 on a dyno. With a claimed 113bhp at the crank, the 100rwhp figure shouldn’t be a surprise, but just how damn nice this thing sounds is. As Sebastian, who tipped us on this, says, the triple whine is simply beautiful.

Pretty slick! Hopefully the suspension won’t be total crap.

Shouldn’t this be out by now?

  • Patrick from Astoria

Still not feeling the pan-pipe exhaust, though hopefully Akrapovic or Termi or someone has something ready to go.

    Otherwise, nice.

it was awesome when i first heard it yesterday, it’s still awesome today.

Feeling even better about my deposit. I know they will make a 800cc triple and create another raft of middleweights. I know more is almost always better. But 110hp @ 370lbs is fine. What I loved about my 750 Brutale is actually using most of the engine on the street. This should be far less peaky and they absolutely nailed the design. The graphics on the 1090RR are an abomination. Small can be beautiful. Reading the US reviews trickle in on the F3′s I’m becoming more optimistic about MV’s future, as they have a great platform with these triples. Is HFL going to sample them?

sounds like a street triple ripoff (insert winking smiley)

Triumph are too busy tracing BMW’s lines to notice.

    Damn that sounds fine

It almost looks like the plate-hanger designer was taking the piss. Actually, I bet he was.

That’s a nice sound. Must be due (in part) to that pan-pipe exhaust ;)
