For 2013, the Honda CBR250R is mechanically unaltered, but gains four handsome new colors. Plain black and plain red look classy, the tri-color looks racy and, for the legions of teenage MotoGP fans in America (we’re assuming there’s still one or two of you left out there, weirdos), there’s also a Repsol replica. No news on pricing, but the Repsol is not available with ABS.
Despite its power deficit, the CBR remains our pick in the first-bike category. High-quality components like suspension and brakes, combined with a general joy de vivre elevate the littlest CBR’s riding experience far beyond the beginner bike; it’s one of the most enjoyable motorcycles out there, full-stop.
