So you’ve got a model range largely targeted at enthusiasts and commuters aged 25+. You’ve also got a new model, the XJ6 (nee FZ6), which is the very definition of a lackluster middleweights. Your bosses want you to market that lackusterness back to some demographic known as “young people” but won’t give you any ability to do so with a model actually targeting them or a non-endemic campaign capable of reaching them. Damn, what a quandary. What about a concept bike you could tote around shows that just had some freestyle stunt stuff bolted to it in bright colors? I mean, kids do like bright colors. But right, kids don’t go to bike shows. Damn, that’ll never work. Still, beats turning up with nothing, right?
