KTM 390 Duke leaks

Dailies, Galleries, Import -

Courtesy of NieuwsMotor.NL, here’s leaked screenshots of the new KTM 390 Duke. Designed for the European As license tier, its 373cc single makes 43bhp and 26lb/ft, powering a bike that weighs just 139kg/306lbs (dry) Like the 125 Duke, the 390 is built in India in partnership with Bajaj, enabling an affordable price despite the high spec. Its advertised here with finance for just 75 Euro a month — about $95. According to that leaked dealer slide, this bike could be coming to the US.

It’s starting to be a really nice time to be a newb, for the first time in a very long while.

    I like it.

I kinda wish i was 19 again, shopping for my first “real” streetbike after my Nighthawk 250.

Not to say i couldn’t buy a Ninja 300, KTM 390 or a CBR500R now, but after years of big Bandits, GSX-Rs, a Busa and VFRs, you get spoiled.

And i would’ve given anything for ABS when i was starting out back then…

i could not have a more opposite reaction after riding GSXR’s, Busa’s, and VFR’s.

Ohhhh snap. Pitching a pants party.

While I cannot afford (nor really want to beta test) a 1st year KTM, will be on my radar in the years to come.

This is the bike that should be in every motorcyclist’s garage IF it is as affordable here as it should be in India. But if it’s going to be $10K forget it, it would just be a toy for people with too much money and plenty of motorcycles.

I remember talking to Chase from Highland a few days before he died in the plane crash and he said that they had a deal with TVS (as I recall) to build something like a Duke, but obviously that didn’t happen.
