Rossi and Lorenzo <3 Yamaha

To coincide with today’s WROOOM event, in which the 2013 Ducati GP13 will be unveiled, Yamaha released these fairly creepy images of ex-Ducati rider Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo getting a little too close to the new M1 for comfort. Shrouded in sexy shadow, details of the new bike are hard to divine, but there are Monster Energy logos, promising to hook a new generation on caffeinated sugar water.

It would be a lot cooler if they were dressed as wizards.

    • Wes Siler

And the bikes had airbrushed lightning on them.

  • Ankur Vishwakarma

Looks like Yamaha took the whole Manigale thing a little too seriously.

  • FastPanda

Totally irrelevant, but still: If Rossi were to go for a bit of facial hair, he’d look disturbingly like “Superunknown”-era Chris Cornell.

  • JC Maldonado

Seriously, it’s a 250hp race bike and they show 2 minutes of elevator music and reflections of Rossi and Lorenzo?

  • Mark

What a horrible two and a half minutes.

  • Keith Kin Yan

    Ah, the under-lit-because-we-don’t-have-a-title-sponsor “look”.

  • Speedo007

Overlapping images 80′s style is a bit cheesy, but nice looking bike from what we can see.

  • James Colton

Looks like an ad for the Twin Peaks GP.

  • Phoneix_Ikki

I was wondering when in that video will Rossi and Lorenzo get it on with each other…the music is right…the lighting is right..and those seductive elbows…

      Y Tu Moto Tambien

  • Grendel

Can’t wait for the 2013 season!

  • JB

Those touchy feely moments with Rossi and the M1 aren’t that different from what goes on every night before his race. Seriously. Some of the top riders have utterly bizarre pre-race rituals.

  • Clint Keener

Lorenzo and Rossi… In a brandy snifter!

  • Mitchel Durnell

Will be interesting to see how Monster decides to differentiate two seperate M1 teams as far as colorways go.

  • Zach Livingston

    Couldn’t finish. Just, couldn’t do it. Couldn’t.

  • Scott Jameson

    Ad noir.
