Lighter, liquid-cooled, more powerful and finally with the ability to carry its own gasoline, the new Ducati Hypermotard is shaping up to be a great bike. Jamie flew over to Spain to take it for a spin.

must have, damn, where is my wallet. must have, cant sleep the clowns will eat me and chase me on hypermotards. wait? what? i need this bike.

The main difference between the regular and SP versions (aside from suspension) appears to be monster wheelies. I love this motorcycle and I haven’t even seen it in person yet.

why not just post the 2 minute review instead of the 7 minute music video?

Because some people actually want to see the bike in action. Is that okay with you?

    • Stuki

Or even better, a 7 minute music video featuring Mr. Robinson shredding a Termignoni.

  • Allyn Pierce

I can’t wait for this bike.

This bike is everything I want from a motorcycle, I just can’t justify the price over a Street Triple R.

Because “This bike is everything I want from a motorcycle.” Can’t put a price on that.

    Ascari. Drool.

Nice bike, Jamie is awesome as usual. Music smothered the life out of a decent video.

I don’t know if Jamie is the best person to give motorcycle reviews. That guy seems so nice and positive I can’t really imagine him saying anything negative about a motorcycle. Gotta love that guy though…..

Side note…the new Hypermotard looks so much better proportionally and stylistically than the old one.

Got to admit, the dude’s positivity is contagious. Any time I watch a MotoGeo video it makes me want to go out and ride immediately afterward.

  • Tommy Erst

Ugh. That looks like the most fun bike out there.

  • sospeedy

Great videography but where’s the content? Only comment about the seat was that it was slim and beautifully designed. Great, but is it comfortable on the road and useful on the track. Jamie and HFL, you guys can do so much better!

Note that Jamie produced this video independently. I’m very proud of the depth, insight and objectivity of each and every one of HFL’s reviews.

review starts around 5:00 if you’re not into that music… I have to say video reviews never really were my thing. I want this bike badly, but I’d much rather blaze through a well written 800 word article than “watch TV”.

That said Jamie is awesome – as if I needed further encouragement to want this bike, I really don’t – and at least some of the shots are nice. Music awful.

Great job! I came away totally sold on that arai helmet, and craving fresh Prosciutto.

    • Mariano

Just for the record, it is not Prosciutto, which as you know is an Italian product, but Jamon Iberico (Iberico pork cured ham) In the world of cured salted ham, this would be equivalent to Kobe beef, best stuff out there.

Shut up and take my money!

Hmmm I’m 62 and I kinda liked the music. I love the bike, drool ;)
