I watched the Mission R tear up Laguna Seca a few years ago after the Moto GP race and it was amazing to see it do what it was doing. The quite whine compared to the GP machines was obviously night and day, but when you hear the rider scrape knee puck the whole way around the corner as he is going as fast as some of the AMA guys over any sound of an engine, that just messes with your mind. For them to come out and sell one, if it is near to what I witnessed that day, is just awesome. $60K is steep, but the low production numbers and amount of competitiveness it offers is well worth the price.
