Video: Sequoia to Yosemite, Off Road

Hell For Leather, HFL -

Good motorcycles, good company and even better food, all through some of the most remote, scenic landscapes in the US. This is Wilderness Collective 001 in moving pictures.

  • Scott Pargett

    Looks like a great time.

  • Dustin Edwards

Men. Manly men. Outdoorsy men. Doing what men do. With other manly men. Men!

Looks like fun but again another video where the voice over guy and the sound editor are making this look like a complete joke. It’s a vacation on dirtbikes with some people who you barely know, or some friends you brought with you. It’s like a softball team in a beerleague or something it isn’t this dramatic right of passage. You pay a lot of money, you ride for a bit and someone carries all your stuff in a truck and caters for you. Fun, but not the beautiful life affirming experience, or you wouldn’t need all the BS Tinsel.

    • Tyler 250

Probably don’t even need a dual-sport. This “off-road” riding looks like it’s done on what I would call “roads”.

Dirt bikes, camping, forests, etc = awesome.
Making some twee ass video about reclaiming manhood through a summer camp for adults = not awesome

    • alex

what did you expect from the wilderness collective, lumberjacks or hipsters?

  • Tommy Erst

Ride looks fun. They should sell the route map for $10, for those of us who can take care of ourselves, but are still a little too lazy to map out forest trails.

    • sean macdonald

Sounds like a poor business model

      • Tommy Erst

butler seems to do well with it.

        • sean macdonald

wasn’t aware the technique they used was to send a guy out on scouting trips for a few weeks to compile the best route

          • Tommy Erst

That’s exactly what they do. It’s a team of guys though. They just dont bring paying customers along….maybe they should. Maybe wilderness collective should sell maps. Sounds like they are both missing out on a little side cash to me.

    • RT Moto

We could just get Wes to map it out… Or would they revoke his “man card” if he did just that??

      • alex

men don’t need a map or permission and they dont eat tree bark and drink diet anything for that matter

        a little late for that……

  • Beale

    “Try the crème Bro-lay”

  • Shane Duffy

Looks like a really great trip!

  • thepierced

Wes, what knife were you using to baton that log?

    • Wes Siler

      My favorite knife ever. ESEE-6

  • jaczor

I don’t get all the haters, if you have the money and don’t like the hassle of only using what you can carry with you, then go nuts. I’d love to take that trip with a bunch of friends, it looks like a lot of fun.
