Jamie Robinson Does Baja…On A Diavel

Hell For Leather, HFL -

We all know the Ducati Diavel is a powerful performance cruiser. But would you ride one to Mexico? Jamie Robinson did, and shot this video along the way.

  • Ricky Lucchese

Did he do the trip three days there and three days back? or was it 6 each way?

    • kyle foulkes

3 days each way, its like 1700 km

  • Porter

I don’t feel like I know anything additional about the Diavel. But I have to say that some video editor has a very, very bright future ahead of him/her (should’ve been credited!). Nicely done.

    • KriegaUSA

The editors kinda did get credited… Jamie and his MotoGeo partner Nik do all the shooting and editing themselves.

  • Richard Gozinya

I usually like these, but this one’s basically just a montage, with stuff about running out of gas thrown in. A 6 day road trip through Baja, and nothing to say about it?

    • Porter

I thought the same thing. But you’ve got to admit, it’s a pretty damn good montage. I think it’s a shame they didn’t credit the editor.

i want to know where I can get the smoking skull ball cap…really.

  • RT Moto

I’m sure Jamie spent some of that time on the can after seeing all that food he was eating. You pay twice for that kind of grub, once in cash and the other on the crapper.

Awesome video regardless, wish there was a little more detail but it was still amazing.

I always hear that, but have never experienced it for myself. Which is strange, since I was basically raised on Mexican food.

I grew up on the Sonoran border. I have never understood people’s perception (or GI tract issues) when they say things like that about the food.

“This bike has made the trip so easy…”

You know, except for running out of gas all the time. LOL. Honestly, the small tank and fuel mileage was the only thing that kept me from getting a Diavel. I absolutely adore the bike, but the limitations on range are a deal killer for me. It’s a shame.

Caught in the famous Baja Gas Gap eh? Is that the East Cape road to Cabo Pulmo at the end there? And a shame there’s not more of LA Paz

  • Tuscan Foodie

I want this guy’s job. Also: how about taking an extra gas of fuel with him?

  • Jeffrey Alan Hirsh

    YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!!

    You guys are brilliant!
