Leaked: 2015 Triumph Daytona 250

News -

Dutch site Oliepeil.nl posted this photo from the EICMA show in Milan today, of what we can only assume will be the Triumph Daytona 250.

Seems only natural for Triumph to get in the 250 game and pursue those with the A2 license. Oliepeil reports that Triumph was showing off it’s 250cc engine at their press into, but this picture is the closest thing released regarding what it will look like.

This most likely uses the same engine we saw in the spy shots of entry level Triumph naked.

I hope we see more on this by week’s end.

Can’t look any worse than that naked 250 Triumph does.

      … don’t push your luck!
      Haha :P

Almost seems like a shame that they’re only doing a 250 considering the trend now seems to be going the 300-500 route for the lower displacements.

Some will be built as 350s. I just hope/wish they’d built one like a mini Bonneville scrambler.

The more cool little bikes on the market, the better. Hopefully, if there are more desirable 250s and 300s, maybe some kids will be saved the pain of learning to ride on a supersport 600 or 1000

    530cc twin, please.

But that naked triumph sure looks like a Honda CBR250r with different bodywork…
