Love what icon is doing! (please make skinny riding jeans with armor, haha!)

    • Joe Bielski

check out uglybos alpha-K kevlar jeans!! Just got my pair in the mail and they are skinny!!

      • Clint Keener

Cool, thanks! Can you only get them mail order?

        • das not compute

          Check out http://uglybros-store.com/
That’s where I ordered my pair. The alpha-K and echo-K look like just plain ole’ jeans. Unlike the rest of their line, with those funky knee things. They are also the only jeans they make that have the kevlar woven right into the denim as apposed to kevlar panels under the jeans. AND they are their cheapest pants to boot…. go figure. I wear a 28-30 pant size and their 28 fit me perfectly with just a touch of room in the waist. Hope that helps.

  • Chris McKendry

    Whoa. Loved it.

  • Cody

Does ICON do anything that isn’t awesome? I love this company.

  • Ayabe

Page 2 link seems to be down.

  • Dustin Coury

I think they like Triumph. Just a hunch.

    • hunkyleepickle

      who wouldn’t…

  • Vincent Lehmann

I get the urge to buy the variant everytime Icon releases a video. I’m holding strong. For now… Damn Icon ! Excellent video.

    • hunkyleepickle

Honestly, i recently tried on a myriad of Shoei, Arai, Shuberth, and all the top brands of helmets at my local moto show, and in the end, the 189$ ICON alliance helmet was without question the most comfortable helmet i tried on. Their gear is really excellent, and getting better faster than the top brands are advancing, and without the premium price in most cases. Even the 1000 line is generally cheaper than comparable brands.

      • Vincent Lehmann

Yes. The alliance is a GREAT helmet, I recommend it all the time to new riders who don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars for just a tiny advantage in weight or noise reduction. It’s by far the best “first” helmet out there. Icon is moving fast, AND they’re constantly producing those awesome vids that make you wanna jump on your seat and ride, that’s good. Only minus on the Variant would be weight I guess.

There’s two minutes of my life I’ll never get back.

  • chris ordanez

Nice enough bike, but the Chevelle is what really had my attention. Would’ve been even cooler if it was a ’70.

    • motoguru.

      ’68 FTW.

    • zion

The Chevelle or the mechanic working on it at the 0:32 mark?

  • michael franklin

I have a feeling that all this cafe racer stuff will be for sale cheap, cheap, cheap, in a few years.

    • 200 Fathoms

      Why?

  • 200 Fathoms

Wouldn’t want to own it, but I like looking at it.

  • http://metabomber.com/ Jesse

The folks at Icon look like they have way to much fun at “work.”

    Keep it up guys!

  • Dennis Newman

I really like what Icon is doing with the sort of re-image. I used to think “squid/stunter” when you mention Icon gear. I now own a pair of Elsinore boots, and am looking at the Variant Carbon helmet. I prefer something a bit more plain and understated than most of what they do, but I can see the appeal. It’s nice to see someone marketing real protective gear to someone besides the sportbike crowd.
As an aside, the custom Sportsters also warm my heart a bit. Nice to see a largely ignored bike being shown as a viable starting point. The world has enough custom CB750′s already…

  • Scott

Check out that front break reservoir! Awesome job on this bike!
