Although it was shown last year, MV Agusta has just announced the final specification and pricing for its F3 800 AGO that will go on sale around the world at the beginning of May.

The F3 800 is a race replica limited edition bike (only 300 will be made) and has been created as a tribute to former MV Agusta works rider Giacomo Agostini and15 times World Motorcycle Champion. Agostini will sign every F3 800 AGO tank and the factory will supply each bike with a commemorative certificate signed by Agostini.

Essentially the F3 800 AGO is the same as the regular F3 but with some of additional electronics, a unique tri-color paint scheme (red, white and green), weight saving carbon fiber and aluminum parts and forged wheels.

There is the regular electronic traction control but for this version of the F3, but MV Agusta says it has taken it to a new level with eight different levels to choose from and the ability to switch the whole thing off if you don’t want to use it.

For track use you have what MV Agusta calls Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System on the F3 800 AGO, which allows the rider to select the ratio between throttle twist and throttle opening. The F3 800 AGO is also equipped with Brembo 4-piston caliper 320mm front discs and a 220mm rear. There’s Bosch ABS 9MP (with Race Mode) and MV Agusta’s RLM system, which prevents the rear wheel from lifting under heavy braking.

Carbon fiber has been used on the front and rear fenders and forged rims offering a weight saving, according to MV Agusta, of more than 4.5 lbs over the standard F3.

That’s the good news. The bad news these will probably sell out before they even get to the dealer showrooms and with MV Agusta quoting a price of 23,990 Euros that roughly translates to $33,216 with the added caveat from MV Agusta “every country could have a price variation due to local import duties and taxes.
