Pep Boys Green Means Go

Pep Boys, the automotive aftermarket chain, wants you to be ready for spring. So, they’ve created the “Green Means GO” sales event, with special $4 pricing on select wash and wax products. The event, which runs through April 27, will also include tire discounts and oil change offers.

To get you off of your couch and over to your local Pep Boys, each location will be hosting Wash and Wax Clinics on Saturday, April 19 at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm local time. The clinics will cover how to wash and dry your vehicle; how to perk up your interior; easy detailing; bumper and trim care; headlight lens restoration; scratch removal; and the proper use of a clay bar. Bring your own vehicle, and your own questions — if you’ve got a special car care challenge, chances are the experts at Pep Boys will have a solution.

If you simply can’t get off of your couch yet, visit Pep Boys online (http://www.pepboys.com), and use the code SPRING20 to get 20% off online orders over $100, now through April 27. You’ll also get free shipping on orders over $75. Better yet, order online and pick up for free at your local Pep Boys store.

Hmmm. Could be there’s a little much promotion going on at RA/HFL..but on the other hand I DO live a few blocks away from a Pep Boys.
So who’s to say if it’s too much promotion?Or a heads up :-)

Will they also instruct me on the proper way to adorn the interior and exterior if my vehicle with cheap LEDs and plastic “chrome” bits? Pep Boys used to be upstanding but they are definitely in a race to the bottom with Autozone in the cheap accessories line.
