This 2010 Yamaha YZ250F has been upgraded with a new "Bilateral Beam" frame that's more compact than before and places the rider closer to the front wheel. Thanks to modified valves, a "D" shaped exhaust port, a more responsive carb, a straight inlet tract and a revised exhaust, power is increased at low- to mid-revs. Taller third and fourth gears and up spec'd KYB suspension enable riders to better exploit that new performance. All these changes should add up to a bike that's even more competitive than the old model, which was the first four-stroke 250cc motocrosser when it was introduced back in 2001.
