Last week, we brought you partial teaser shots of the new, 2015 MV Agusta Dragster 800. Now, here’s the whole thing. A Diavel-style performance cruiser based on the Brutale, the Dragster is shaping up to be lighter than anything else in the class.
Let there not be any confusion that this thing is real, MV has — seconds ago — released this teaser film.
Over the Brutale, the Dragster gains drag-style handlebars, a much more abrupt and heavily stylized seat unit, as well as an extended swingarm and raked out forks. ABS is understood to be standard and the motor apparently hasn’t been detuned, here producing the same 124 bhp as the Brutale roadster.
Despite the lengthened wheelbase, more conservative riding position and steering geometry, signs point to this being a nice handling motorcycle. There’s no reason it should weigh considerably more than the Brutale’s 368 lbs (dry).
