AC_Schnitzer_F_800_GS_front_wheelklein_01.jpgNoted BMW car tuner AC Schnitzer has turned its hand to the BMW F 800 GS. Already our favorite bike in BMW's current line up, the little GS is lighter and easier to handle than its bigger 1200cc brother, which means even more go-anywhere ability. The AC Schnitzer model does away with any off-road intentions, taking the supermoto route for better on-road performance. This is achieved through the addition of a freer flowing exhaust, road-tuned WP suspension and Continental Race Attack tires.

We really like the idea of a road-optimizedF 800 GS; it should retain
all of its touring ability while becoming more able on mountain roads
and in the city. If we were AC Schnitzer, we’d have painted the bike a
more appealing color and fitted bobbled race wets, but hey, no one's perfect.
Currently a prototype, the tuner will now gauge consumer interest in a
production model.
