KTM is now taking orders for a production racing version of its Moto3 racer, MCN reports. Orders close in October for deliveries in February, 2013. The KTM Moto3 GPR differs from the factory bike in its use of cheaper, heavier aluminum instead of magnesium wheels, while the “factory” WP suspension and Brembo brakes also disappear. The 249.5cc four-stroke is also de-contented, dropping its rev ceiling from 14,000rpm to 13,500 for a power output of 49.6bhp. Dry weight is just 183lbs.
