Spanning 413 feet of the River Tyne in Newcastle, the Gateshead Millenium Bridge rotates up to 40 degrees to allow ships of up to 82 feet tall to pass underneath. With only a 4.5 minute window in which to cross the bridge while raised, it sounds like the perfect obstacle for a freestyle trials rider like Julien Dupont, right? It ended up being one of his hairier stunts though; he lost traction while near the peak, nearly plummeting into the river below.

“I am constantly looking for interesting and unique structures to conquer as this is the challenge for all freestyle motorbike trials riders,” stated Julien. “I want to keep pushing the boundaries of this sport and this project showed that.”
