New York City woke up to three inches of snow on Friday morning—reason enough to pop some waterproof pants on and go for a ride. The tires on the Cub aren’t the best for snow, so for once the throttle—and the 6 bhp it controls—must be managed with care.
It’d be more fun with more grip, but it doesn’t snow frequently enough here to justify studs. It would even be possible to ride a big bike on snow and ice with a set of studded tires. Right now, I’m dreaming of a Christini 300, thus equipped.
