AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days is a vintage road and dirt bike event with a huge swap meet, held July 11-13 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.
AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days is a weekend long event with vintage road and dirt racing everyday, along with a huge swap meet. Held this weekend, July 11th through the13th, at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, in Lexington, Ohio. You'll see choppers, dirt bikes, cruisers, imports and flat trackers, if it's used and on two wheels (perhaps three), it will be there.
Presented by BikeBandit.com, AMA, Federal Motorcycle Transport, the main event is held on the 330 roaming acres of Mid-Ohio Raceway. As of a couple days ago, 700 participant spaces have been accounted for.
Proceeds from this year's event will help support the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame located in Pickerington, Ohio. The Hall of Fame will be hosting a display bringing a big variety of Indian Motorcycles. Throughout the weekend attendees will have the opportunity to register for demo rides on new Indian models as well as various other new bikes.
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course can be broken into two road courses or remain as one large one: a 2.4-mile, 15-turn or a 2.25-mile, 13-turn circuit. Mid-Ohio is located in Lexington, Ohio, 60 miles north of Columbus and 75 miles south of Cleveland.
A vendor mid-way and swap meet will fill the grounds along with the museum's vintage Indian display, manufacturer's test rides and clubs. Don't forget the Wall of Death! It's the first time, we wished we lived in the Mid-West (kidding!).
