When you're considering a motorcycle for yourself, which would you say pulls your attention first: The looks, or the sound? Don't get me wrong, both are definitely important, but there's always one thing that makes me crane my neck and squint my eyes to reassess a bike, and it's the sound, man.

This is the final episode in a month-long series of videos focusing on this 300cc Honda Grom build, put out by the minimoto specialists at Steady Garage. If you're familiar with the scene, you're probably familiar with Steady Garage's builds by now, as they've been around for a minute. However, putting this video series up on their YouTube is a new thing for them, as they're usually too busy turning wrenches and installing sick mods to chronicle their builds from multiple aesthetically pleasing angles for the Tubes of You.

Hopefully, they'll go back and stick all these videos in a single playlist, so you can easily watch the entire build from start to finish. At the time of writing, no such playlist exists, but all the videos are there so you can just watch them in order yourself. In any case, throughout this entire build, the guys have hinted at it being crafted especially for a "mystery client."

What do you think?

Today, we're about to find out who that mystery client is, as they'll take delivery of this sweet Grom now that it's been completed and test-ridden. That Yoshimura exhaust sounds ridiculous, by the way; you'll get to hear it quite a bit, so prepare to enjoy.

Who's the bike for? Why, none other than avowed petrolhead Dax Shepard. And if you have to ask why a Honda Grom and not a Honda Dax, well, I think you'll understand pretty well once you see this thing in action. It sounds unbelievable, with looks to match, and it appears that performance mods including brake and suspension upgrades are ready to help make it an absolutely unforgettable riding experience. You do, in fact, love to see it.
