This AGV x Street Fighter Helmet Collab Is Straight Fire. But We Can't Have It
AGV collaborated with Capcom's long-running Street Fighter video game series on a quartet of killer graphics for the K1 S, but only in Japan.
If you're a fan of both video games and motorcycles, then you'll know that this isn't the first time we've seen official Street Fighter 6 crossovers with motorcycle world. Normally, though, it's been in the form of motorcycle wraps, like this Suzuki GSX-8R or this very special Suzuki Hayabusa.
Those were cool, of course, but they weren't anywhere near as ubiquitously accessible as, say, a slew of full-face motorcycle helmet graphics. For Street Fighter 6 fans who also ride, that's why you might be particularly pleased to see the cool graphics that AGV just applied to its ultra-accessible K1 S full-face helmet. Seriously, they're cool enough you might even like them whether you're a Street Fighter fan or not.
Now, before you get too excited about these designs, I'm afraid I have to break some bad news. While it's true that motorcycling, love of Street Fighter 6, and the distribution of the AGV K1 S helmet extend across multiple international and continental borders, unfortunately these sick graphics do not follow suit. Sadly, per the official AGV website for this helmet collab, it is and will remain a Japan-only collection. This, despite the fact that at the bottom of the page, it mentions that these specific Asian-fit helmets (which means they'd fit me, lolsob) carry both ECE22.06 and SG (Japan) homologation.
All four helmets feature the 'signatures' of each of the SF6 characters they're dedicated to. As for finishes, it appears that the Cammy graphic is matte (I really want to see this in person), while the other three all feature a glossy finish.
If you're located in Japan and you're looking to get your hands on one of these sweet K1 S helmets, what's it going to cost you? Each one carries a retail price of 47,300円, which works out to about US $298 at the time of writing. Available sizes range from S to XL.
